Long story short: she fell in love with the profession and hasn’t looked back since!
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
First, Dr. Ashley Fasone attended the College of Charleston. Before she attended dental school, she worked as a dental assistant – Dr. Chougule’s dental assistant! She then earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina, making her dream of becoming a dentist a reality. Throughout her time in dental school, she was actively involved in the American Dental Association, which is where she underwent continuing education in dental photography, sleep apnea, intraoral scanners, CAD/CAM dentistry, and more. To further perfect her craft, she maintains an active membership with the following organizations:
- American Dental Association
- South Carolina State Dental Association
- North Carolina State Dental Association
- Academy of General Dentistry
