Priya Chougule, DMD
Dr. Chougule always looks forward to providing the best dental care her patients deserve, and you’ll notice this from your very first visit. The greatest part of her job is being able to restore people’s smiles while helping to boost their confidence and improve their overall well-being. Growing up, she experienced many dental issues, which ended up making her grow an interest in the field of dentistry. With all the neat gadgets and fascinating tasks, being a dentist became her passion for her career. The rest is now history.
To begin her journey into the dental field, Dr. Chougule first went to college in India before attending the University of Connecticut to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine. She later went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. Over the years, she’s undergone countless hours of continuing education and took every opportunity she had to further her expertise, including studying at the Kois Center. She’s also received advanced training in subjects like ClearCorrect, Invisalign, laser dentistry, and sedation dentistry. She’s a member of several professional organizations such as the South Carolina Dental Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
If she isn’t at the office helping others achieve their dream smiles, Dr. Chougule is at home spending time with her husband and their two wonderful children. She’s extremely proud of her daughter and son, and she loves supporting them in their interests. She and her family enjoy a wide range of hobbies, from playing board games to traveling around the world. In her spare time, Dr. Chougule likes to practice and learn about multiple kinds of dance.
Ashley Fasone, DMD
It wasn’t until high school that Dr. Fasone knew she wanted to pursue dentistry for her future career. She found her dentist at the time to be quite inspiring, and she ended up gaining an interest in exploring the world of dental care. Today, she gets to do the very things she loves: performing creative and scientific work while also helping others enjoy a brighter and healthier smile!
Dr. Fasone started her dental career by first attending the College of Charleston. She actually worked as Dr. Chougule’s dental assistant before studying at the Medical University of South Carolina for her Doctor of Dental Medicine. During her years in dental school, she was active in the American Dental Association and also received advanced training in multiple topics, including sleep apnea, intraoral scanners, dental photography, CAD/CAM dentistry, and more. Today, she regularly seeks continuing education to remain on top of the latest advances in the field and is a member of several organizations, such as the Academy of General Dentistry and the North Carolina State Dental Association.
Whenever she isn’t at the office maintaining and caring for pearly whites, Dr. Fasone enjoys being with her family and loved ones. Her hobbies include a wide variety of activities, including watching reality TV, trying new restaurants, traveling in her spare time, and loving all things Disney. She also loves taking time to volunteer in outreach clinics for those who can’t afford dental care.
