Julie

Registered Dental Hygenist

I am a native South Carolinian, growing up and attending school in Rock Hill. I attended BYU pursuing a degree in math. I realized that I wanted to work in dentistry and then returned to obtain my Dental Hygiene Degree from York Technical College where I was a President’s Award recipient. I have since obtained my SC license to practice dental hygiene and to administer infiltration anesthesia. I am also certified to administer nitrous oxide, and trained in advanced oral cancer screening and sleep apnea. I have also attended continuing education classes specializing in periodontal disease and implant care and maintenance. I have been married for 28 years and have two married daughters a daughter still in college and an old Springer spaniel. My husband and I are now the proud grandparents of a little boy named Tanner. We are very excited to begin this new chapter of our lives. I have been working at Southlake Family Dentistry for 13 years, where I have enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the emphasis on patient care. The very best part of my job is building relationships with my patients.
